Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
MASTER
OF INSURANCE BUSINESS (MIB)-2 Semesters 1 Year
This is
industry-specific Postgraduate Diploma Program focusing on knowledge and skills
required by management professionals who plan to choose their career in
insurance. The programme equips the students with a general management
perspective and introduces them to the latest concepts and practices related to
functional areas of insurance industry. The insurance industry consists of
various entrepreneurs like insurance companies, insurance intermediaries (e.g.
Brokers, Third Party Administrators TPAs) and allied. The MIB is designed to
fulfill the existing gap in the deliverables offered by the contemporary /
conventional institutions who are offering Post-graduate degree or diploma in
insurance management without full time faculty members and subject experts. The
pedagogy of the MIB allows the students to be employable and industry worthy
from day one; substituting the exiting practice wherein the employer has to
invest time and money on orientation of the selected students because of lack
of their domain knowledge of insurance operations. At College of Insurance
Studies Jodhpur multi-spectra insurance domain knowledge is delivered by full
time core faculty having rich practical and academic experience.
